Autumnfeather sat in the Lighting Meadow. There was a storm coming but no rain. Lightning flashed in the distance and she raised her nose to the sky as a cool summer breeze rustled her long fur. She sighed and looked at her paws. She remembered her life before coming to ThunderClan. She remembered her family and shivered as she remembered what she had done. She had to do it though. A lightning bolt flashed closer now and Autumnfeather felt her fur begin to stand on end as the lightning grew closer.....

Flamestar walked out of camp and saw his mate and went beside her and rubbed his pelt against hers. He licked her check. "whats wrong?"he meowed licking her check softly and love for her.

Autumnfeathers violet orbs wavered for a second as she considered telling her mate of her past. But everything would change then. Nothing would be the same. "Nothing," she mewed quietly as she leaned against his strong body, enjoying the feeling of protection he brought her. Another flash of lightning and a crash of thunder echoed across the land....

Flamestar just nodded and licked his mate's ear and purred. He then looked at her making sure she was ok. "Well, if your sure you are alright."he meowed to his mate licking her.
